Soloman Baking Company is a family owned and managed business that was founded by Sam Soloman in 1978. Sam Soloman, an inspiring baker, and the artist is a visionary who turned his love for fine quality bread into a thriving food service business.

Sam’s sole goal has been to bring the distinctive taste of the Holy Land; his motherland, to his adopted home of the State of Colorado. His tenacious drive to meet consumer evolving needs fell perfectly into place with his passion of holding onto the traditions passed down through family recipes valued for over many generations, sincae the Old Country method of baking Pita Bread and Flat Bread caters to the health conscious mindset of the consumer today…

THE LOVE STORY
OF PITA BREAD

Since the days of King Soloman people have been making a special type of bread called “Pita”. It is shaped in the form of the sun and when baked, is hollow on the inside creating two layers that separate to form internal pockets, thereby earning its infamous term “Pocket Bread.” Thus, unlike other breads, this special bread can be sliced in half, made into a pocket that can be stuffed with one’ favorite filling. Using nature’s finest ingredients, this bread is packed with nutrition and is low in calories with no added fats. Pita Bread is as natural as it can get, where the ingredients used can be counted on one hand. Baking this special bread has been a valued tradition in the Soloman family passed down many generations.
